HOW DO I CARE FOR MY PRODUCT?
Alpaca is one of the strongest fibers in the world, so you are investing in a lifetime piece for your wardrobe that could last for decades, if cared for properly.
Cleaning
Yes!! It IS Machine Washable!!! .... there is a catch, however.
It can be Dry Cleaned, of course, but you can also launder it at home with whatever soap you use for the rest of your fine garments. Most items are machine washable, but you MUST USE COLD WATER! and NEVER put it in the drier. It is strong enough to withstand the machine, but it will welt when heat is applied. Lay flat to air-dry. As with all your finest knitwear, it should never be hung up - wet or dry.
Storage
Store it flat for best long-term care. As with all the finest knitwear, it maintains its shape best if not draped over a hanger or - God forbid - a hook.
What about moths?
If it is one of our signature pieces, blended with silk, you do not have to worry about chew-holes from those pests. BUT! If it is an extraordinary garment of 100% Alpaca, keep it in a zip locked plastic bag!
The destructive little larvae of the Clothes Moths does all that damage, and they love eating Alpaca!
REMEMBER!
• Wash in cold water by machine - or hand wash if it is very delicate
• Never use heat! NO warm water - NO drier
• Lay flat to dry! (we put ours over the back of a sofa or across our bed)
• Store folded flat

We pay for Shipping on all original orders. If you need it faster, expedited service is available for the difference in cost. International orders can be forwarded through a logistics service. (see below)

WHAT ABOUT RETURNS AND EXCHANGES?
Your 100% satisfaction is guaranteed on all of your orders from Alpaca Clothing Store, and we promise to promptly refund you in the same form of payment as your purchase. Gifts or Gift Card purchases are good for exchange or credit only. All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt, and merchandise must be come back to us in unworn/unwashed pristine condition with tags attached. We do not charge shipping on original orders, so do not assume return shipping costs for refund or exchange requests. Packages that arrive COD will be denied. Please allow up to 3 weeks for your return or exchange to be processed.
